Archiving Policy
Archiving Policy
Ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content.
JIET is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content.
Digital Preservation
- JIET utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) for long-term digital archiving.
- PKP PN is a free, open-source preservation service operated by the Public Knowledge Project, specifically designed for OJS journals.
- This ensures that all published content remains accessible even if the journal ceases publication or the hosting platform becomes unavailable.
Additional Archiving
- All articles are archived on the JIET OJS platform with persistent access via DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to self-archive their published articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal academic profiles.
